Switzerland seem obsessed with dribbling it out of the box.

Argentina will surely score soon if they keep this up. Swiss have hardly had 5 minutes on the ball and their defence looks shaky.

It will be declared match of the tournament by the end of 90 minutes just you wait.

I thought you were being tongue in cheek given the crowd are mostly Argentine and were making the most noise, wires crossed. Yeah, the Brazilians will be backing the Swiss obviously, they hate Argentina.
Maybe I should have said, Brazilians in the crowd rather than Brazilian crowd! No worries, but that's how I meant it.

Yeah I know, I always have to laugh when some people think everyone hates England, yet most countries tend to dislike their neighbours most

Switzerland are going to have to watch that Messi.

Like a midget at a urinal, they will have to keep on their toes

Only thing one can be sure of is that a Yellow Card will come into play.

It's the same girl again, with the pretty smile

Hasn't practically every match thread had that? Also 'worst match of the tournament' and goal of the tournament People have short memories.

Dayum, Swiss might not get another chance as good as that one. Amazed keeper didn't run forward. Very poor finish.

Why didn't the gk come out? Didn't he watch Neuer yesterday? Big let off for Argentina.

The Argentine keeper is no Neuer. Rooted to his line. Switzerland really should have scored there.

The Swiss are going to regret these chances, especially when Argentina eventually get on top of things. And JFC, this WC really isn't a tournament for defences.

I appreciate Messi is a great footballer, but he is boring away from the pitch.

I would like him to start getting drunk, get caught with naughty women, develop a drug habit, and start firing pellet guns at cameramen.

That has to be the weakest shot of the World Cup, it was virtually a back pass.

Woeful finish a couple mins ago. And what was the keeper thinking not collecting that?

Yep, opposite of the way France played against Switzerland, cut them to ribbons with pace.

This is a very beatable Argentine side.

Swiss corner...

Flow of goals, really, not in the 1st half! Wait until the 2nd half!
