All very dapper in their Sunday best at the beeb and all very casual and over on ITV
I now have to have a peek at ITV ....... ohhh they are still a bunch of amateurs i,n their sunglasses and the lighting crew have failed as they have shade all over their faces.

Have they been evicted from their studio?

First break ...... and back to the safety of the BBC. Phew!!

Even Jason Mohammed redporting from around the outside of the ground is in a suit ..... well done BBC, smart as ever.

I like a sharp suit, collar and tie, you blokes need to remember it does make you look really good.

What do you mean 'decided'?

Is there any other channel to watch it on other than the BBC?
Don't start, as I might change channels, as those suits look so out of place in sunny Rio. hmmm

Really hope Argentina win, wouldn't begrudge Germany though, either 1-1 with Argentina winning after extra time, or 3-0 Germany.

Not sure the suits and ties are necessary. Just looks odd.

Had to laugh at Ian Wright saying he wouldn't kick Shakira out of bed, total awkwardness and then ad break

Football and suits only go together at the FA cup... This isn't horse racing!

It's just the different view points.

ITV are taking the casual route.

The BBC, nations favouite, are adding a bit of gravitas with it being the final of the World Cup.

As the BBC show their review of the World Cup, I must admit I've got myself into the mood for tonight's final by reliving the entire tournament from start to finish courtesy of the three-minute highlight packages for each match the BBC have on their website.

Slightly odd experience, I must admit, because it felt like the footballing equivalent of seeing your life flash before your eyes - although it wasn't a flash because it took three and a half hours - but I'm still glad I did it because it really reinforced what a remarkable World Cup this has been.

Almost every match has produced some kind of notable memory which has entered the World Cup history book and almost every match - even the ones which started off in a dull and meandering fashion - developed into a display of open, attacking football which you just couldn't take your eyes off.

And hasn't it flown by?

Radio 5 commentators so busy enthusing over Germany - their new Brazil, and we know where that led - they've forgotten to say what they are wearing.

Heh - you think? It seems like months ago that Spain was still considered one of the top teams...

THIS is bigger than the FA Cup though.

Some men don't know how to dress ....... they turn up in jeans and a football shirt and think they are right trendy and smart!! They're not .......

IYV have the beach which is very nice to see again. But which are the common sense commentators, do you think and does it matter if any of them waffle? Can't make up my mind re that either.

With perhaps the exception of the bore fest Holland - Argentina.

The enormous green mikes are irritating... Unnecessary in 2014.
