I take the point because so much has happened in this World Cup that it does seem an age ago that Spain were considered one of the favourites.

I was making a slightly different point, though, that this month-long tournament feels like it's gone by much quicker than that.

Are they buliding germany up too much? Yes they were good against brazil but lets face it brazil were dreadful. If brazil had put even a bit of a fight I think it would have been a lot closer but unfortunately it they didn't. Argentina will be a lot tougher to beat. Its certainly not gonna be one way traffic like holland had in the semi. Just hope it doesn't go to pens.

The 4 quarter finals were all disappointing, some of the R16's weren't great either.

Clarence Seedorf is excellent. He only got 5 months in the job at AC Milan before being sacked, I hope he gets another job somewhere, he's a likeable guy and he knows his stuff.
