A fantastic World Cup and a well deserved winner. I have no idea how Russia are going to match it. Red Square isn't exactly the Copacabana.

No competitive football for a month now...

I'll be sure to give Rio in Rio a swerve.

I'm sure the airtime for that 'Rio In Rio' documentary would not be better spent reviewing the tournament.

I would be very surprised if Messi thought he deserved the golden ball award for being the best player in the world cup.

Couple of millions if it's solid, but wiki would know

If assists are taken into account then David Luiz should have won it.

I think rio has been a good pundit, think they will use a lot more in the future.

Hansen will probably report on the golf

Yep, next match for me is standing at Victoria Road munching on a jumbo hotdog...

Doesn't have the same cachet as a night at the Maracana eh?.....

Expect we'll see Hansen pop up on a Liverpool game in the FA Cup on the BBC next season.

He was right though, the kids didn't win it! The experience got them over the line that season and watching the documentary the other day Gary Neville said he agrees with what Hansen said!

I'll be sorry to see him go, talked a lot of sense and was a tremendous player!

Well, this has been a decent little tournament.

Now, back to looking forward to more club football.
