Messi is a miserable man through. He don't smile much even when he scores a goal. Only time he looked happy was when the penalty shootout finished.
I am definitely goanna go to the next euro through I have never been to a football match before.
I wanna go to rugby world cup as well because the Olympics stadium hosts matches.

Can I just remind everyone that it's the Commonwealth Games very soon, I'm away for a few days of it but will be loving posting as and when I do watch it.

We can don our England, Scotland, Welsh and Irish Flags and all the rest of course

Perhaps if we were a team of the four home nations ...... England could have done with Gareth Bale.”

No one from NI would ever get on the team! At least now we have the chance to win against Spain every so often. Scottish players might well have a similar sentiment.

ITV...seems that's a heavy trophy, as the holder looked about to chuck it into the sky.

Ireland isn't in the Commonwealth though.

You have to be about 25 now to remember Scotland playing in a World Cup now which is quite scarey

Great to see Brazil organise an almost flawless tournament despite the predictions of disasters. Hope their Olympics in 2016 goes as well.

We don't want either of you (although we'd quite like a Scottish manager), just give us Wales and that'll be fine

Mrs T might be referring to the unofficial NI flag...

I'm going to miss Martin O'Neil and his dry, piss taking humour, it's been a laugh to watch.

Have a bad feeling the Comms will be ruined by Salmond popping up at every opportunity

Yes, this could be contentious.

The Games will be woeful anyway. The only good thing about it is the Queen gracing Celtic Park.

I thought 2002 was our chance, if we'd got past Brazil we'd have had a game against Turkey and a final against a German team we beat 5-1 the year before between us winning it.

But Ronaldinho and Seaman being half asleep put paid to that

I'm looking forward to the CWG. I've never been to Glasgow before and I have tickets for several events.

Anyway, it will help pass the time before the football season starts again.
