I think last show excitement is getting to him... expect more hyperbole.... Messi is God, Mueller is Jesus etc... But yeah, this world cup doesnt come clos to Big Jacks Green Army's invasion of Italy in 1990!

Now after all their hype, Messi will continue his anonymous season for Barca and not get a touch in a scintillating 0-0 draw. Finals are always dull. Enjoy it people.

Unlike today when every utterance, goal mistake is on record for posterity.

Undoubtedly Bobby Moore was a great man, footballer and captain. Sadly missed.

I'm waiting on who the co commentator is before choosing which side to watch, i absolute;y detest Lawrenson so it will be ITV for me, however if it isnt Lawrenson it will be BBC

I'm going to give 5 lives commentary a go while watching the BBC...assuming there isnt a noticeable delay. I'm sure Lawro is up for this game.

How do people see this going? I can see the German midfielders trying to stifle Messi and Argentina therefore sitting back and we get a drab game. I hope that doesn't happen but it's been pretty much the case for their previous matches.

All these fools (Shearer included) trying to claim that Messi needs to win this to be considered one of the all time greats are clueless btw.
