I've just looked at the results of Heat 9, and it surprised me that The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People came last. It seems as though that two parter is one of the the worst DW stories ever. My parents don't find that one, that good a story either, to be honest.

I would say that Fear Her is one of the worst, too.

Well maybe but you can't really use this to judge, there were only 16 people voting on this heat and it may have been a strong than others. Just a little game.

Get this heat over with and we'll be onto Round 2 with the stories that remain.

What?!?! Round two? I thought this would be over after Heat 10?

Oh yes, the 10 stories (and ties) that came top of each heat go on to round 2 (or quarter finals if you like), the rest have been eliminated. Suspect there will be 4 (maybe 5 I have counted the ties yet) quarters, then a couple of semi-finals and then a grand final.ies

i.e.
- round 1 (10 heats) - 250 stories
- quarter-finals (4) - 100 stories (+ties)
- semi-finals (2) - 40 stories (+ties)
- final - 20 stories (1) (+ties)

then we will have an overall winner

I must've forgotten that, then, by mistake, sorry. I have had a lot of things going on in my personal life recently.

that's ok, it's not important. just wanted to point out i hadn't changed anything from what I originally started. Comparing 25 random stories doesn't achieving anything. Not sure this does but at least we will have a resolution.

Tough one indeed, a pretty good list in its own right.


I can only base it on personal re-watch value so had to ditch many fine episodes.
