I don't know if it's just an act, but Nick seems to be taking this all very seriously. He acts like he's got a genuine chance of winning.

I just don't get his voice. It's all muffled. Sounds like he's putting it on and deliberately trying to be a club singer.

On the first show, Nick says he would have had a musical career, but he lacked one thing ..... TALENT

Nick is a fun guy to have around .... laughs at himself and has fun, from what I have seen.

They're right when they say it's gravel-like; when DIY SOS came to Boston once, I hung around for a while to see some of the filming. Off-camera, Nick's a hardcore chain-smoker!

Well I thought that he was having a laugh, especailly after Britney, but every now and then he says something that makes me wonder if secretly he's hoping to do well.

Either way, he's dreadful.

imo he's simply running through all the divaesqe comments that many other wannabees say....just for a laugh. he's proving to be great entertainment.

The worst thing about Nick is that he seems to think he's good. When he said on last night's show that there were 3 good singers on the programme, I'm sure he was including himself as 1 of the 3

There was Nick, Ade and Jeremy (of course) ... and Nick said he thought there were 4 very good singers in there .... mentioning no names he said, but added "there are all female"

Yep, I heard that too tomorrow. It seems some people just see what they want to see.

To be honest, I think that now they are all in the academy and getting the singing tuition, they all really want to do the best they are capable of.

All of them seem to be annoyed at their performances when it is spoiled due to nerves ....

I wish I could sit all day watching streaming ... but there's little things like, work (both house and the other kind) that get in the way .... playing games, where you don't even hear what's going on, etc. etc.

And eating/cooking ... the list is endless ...

I like Nick too, if you watched the live filming after the show, when Carrie and David asked Nick about his performance, he said he was awful, like Richard said and thats why he agreed with them but after hearing the playback and being told his performance was good, he was happier!

I think his voice is quite sexy and am looking forward to tonights sexy performance.

But the people who do sit in front of the telly all day watching live streaming surely have a truer idea of what goes on

I find it strange that Nick who is obviously around musical instruments can't get his tuning. I've a feeling he would sound very good if he could. Like Joe Cocker, only more so!

He remains my favourite, he's quite a character - he's decent and down to earth. Plus his gravelly voice is quite different
