Goal. Nice.

Just like Algeria yesterday, conceded so quickly.

Every save Howard has made has been routine. It's weird the way people react to keepers, if they make enough easy saves in a row people start screaming about what an amazing performance it is. If he'd let in any of the shots he saved everyone would be saying what an awful howler it was.
Some Americans I know (and lots I don't) are reacting to him in a big way despite knowing nothing about football.

Lukaku just has endless power.

Will Belgium regret all those missed chances? If USA win this then Tim Howard will get Shopping Malls named after him.
They already have
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_County,_Maryland

I guess they'll have to rename it now

Argentina will murder Belgium. 4-1, with 4 Messi goals, maybe Di Maria might get onto the act. They'll finally get to play a side who will open up!

From what I gave seen this has been a tremendously sporting contest-its all action with few niggles. Congrats to both teams-especially USA whose growth in class and support(some fantastic tv ratings in America) is eyecatching.
This article, sent me a week or so ago by an American friend, shows how very thin the support for soccer is in the USA http://www.harrisinteractive.com/New...6/Default.aspx

I've not been that impressed with Belgium, until tonight. Deserved lead, fine football.

How much gas do USA have left in the tank?

Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku on the counter are going to be even more dangerous now.

Took far, far, far too long to finish it. Lukaku is killing them though.

The Belgium manager really does make excellent, game changing substitutions.
