Chile I feel will be beat them.
Brazil have rode their luck so far, this is a huge step up in quality |

This will be a comfortable win for Brazil. Chile's defence was woeful against the Dutch and the Aussies. Only the little Spanish players couldn't fake advantage.

Whichever way it goes, I think this game is giving us a finalist.

![]() The only prediction I'm willing to make about this match is that it'll go to extra time. |

I honestly think Brazil are there for the taking. They're not great at the back, even Cameroon have managed to breach their defence!
All the pressure is on Brazil, they've coped with it so far, but Chile are no mugs and will have plenty of support. Sooner or later, Neymar will have a bad day at the office, they can't keep on relying on him. |

Its the same half as Columbia, France and Germany! Think Brazil will beat Chile but will do well to reach the final. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Chile beat Brazil but the referee decisions will go Brazil's way again just like in the first game and Neymar is back on form so my bet would be on Brazil.
Saying that Chile as a team are better but Brazil have better individuals. Interesting contest! |

While Chile have work to do at the back, I wonder whether they will afford Neymar the same kind of space that other teams have so far.

Surely Fernandinho must be given the nod.
Scolari has even said he has 'blind faith' in Paulinho. |

Think Neymar will be the difference - again.
Howard Webb has got this game - hopefully won't be influenced by the home support and has a decent game. |

In the event of Brazil losing the riots could be pretty ugly. I wonder if the television studios would come under attack again.

Really wish this was the final
(With a Chile win) Unfortunately i can only see Brazil going through. I think they have actually been a bit under rated. |

I would have said Chile for the win, but seeing Coward Webb is reffing, i'm going to say Brazil win 1-0 with a Coward Webb special penalty decision.
Neymar I think will be the difference as well. |

Would love to see Chile win,
but surely if they go a goal or 2 up, Brazil will get a penalty when they go anywhere near. |

Well, after an unremitting run of group games and a rest day, the real World Cup begins today.
16 matches, each more important and decisive than anything we've seen before in this tournament, and the only permutation involved is that the winner goes through and the loser goes home. We also enter the territory of extra time and penalties too - and I wouldn't be surprised if one or possibly both was needed to decide whether Brazil or Chile continue in this World Cup. |

Looking forward to this, and the Last 16 in general.
Would love to see Chile prevail but can't see it happening. Brazil to win. |
