Not a great deal of silky skills on show, but well done Chile for the battling 100% team effort.
I'm scared of penalty shoot outs even when it's not England.

I bloody love penalties.

When England aren't involved.

This is it. Prepare for riots if Brazil lose.

I'm the opposite. I'm sick of hearing so much about Brazil at every World Cup and it usually makes me want their opponents to win.

Thanks for taking that joke in such a pissy manner.

Advantage Chile for me. Brazil are among the favourites, they're hosts and the nation (and maybe FIFA) is expecting them to win, if anything to ease the pressure from the protests.

All of the pressure is on Brazil.

No matter what happens, Chile can hold their heads high. Desperately unlucky not to have this game wrapped up already, they've been the first team to really give the host team a proper game.

Hope I'm wrong but I fancy Brazil to prevail in the shoot-out.

Anyone think they should have a similar system to a tennis tie break for penalties as there wouldn't be such a big advantage for the team who goes first?

To be fair to the pundits, they've really built up the tension and drama of the situation quite well.

Point of no return now.

I know a few people who are not English born or come from a country that has a football team of any significance, who adopt Brazil as their team.
I was so happy when Holland put them out last time.
