Oh it is? hmm seems weird that there would be another verse with no music.
FIFA limits the time anthems can be played for so it cuts the second verse. When this happened in the Confed Cup the crowd and players kept on singing the second verse and it was felt to be a great unifying moment amid the backdrop of protests. So they have kept doing it at this tournament.

FIFA have a time limit on how much of the anthem can be played. It would usually be longer.

Well that's stupid.
The national anthem of Greece has over 150 verses. You wouldn't want to go though all of that before a game.

Didn't take long for the heavy challenges to start coming in.

Howard Webb's going to have plenty to think about today.

chile's coach probably covers more distance pacing the touchline than any of the players on the park will

Yeah, like "will I get out of this ground alive if I award Chile a penalty?"

Chile are tie betters team whiles Brazil have the better individuals. It's down to how well the dubious Brazilian defence cope.

FIFA limit the anthem music to 90 seconds.
Well that's stupid.
Do they play all of God Save The Queen? Because, they (FIFA) don't play the second verse.

For players that play for the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, Marcelo and Dani Alves have looked dodgy defensively in every match so far.
