Agreed, Chile will be a miss.

That game was vastly better too.
I was on the edge of me sofa Robbo, the passion was immense.

Quite close for Uruguay then!

I'll have no complaints if Brazil out play their opponents and impress with me their football. Then, yes, of course they'll deserve to go through. But I somehow think they'll get through without doing either of those things I mention.
Understood. I misread your post since I feel a strong anti Brazil vibe around here. Purist fans of the game will obviously support teams playing positive, creative football. Something the Brazilians haven't been doing up to now as opposed to Colombia.

BBC: "Colombian fans indulging in some serious taunting of nearby Uruguayans - who respond with universally accepted signal for "go away."

Those Colombian goals look better every time you see them.

They've never won a KO game at the WC before have they? Can't help but be nervous in that scenario.

URU upped the game a bit, but could be too late

I thought Colombia vs Holland would be a semi-final. I don't know the draw 100% at this stage though. Still, that would be an excellent match - attack vs counterattack.
No, Columbia and Holland can both make the final as they're drawn in different halves of the round of 16. It would be great wouldn't it?

If Uruguay had started like this could've been different.

Godin like Sergio Ramos is brilliant in the air. Easily as good as John Terry in the box winning a high % of attacking headers.

Colombia have just taken their foot off the pedal a bit too much in the last 15 minutes.

Its amazing how a lot of the so called World class players have been a bit crap in this world cup, Cavani, Ronaldo etc.... they havent made a mark at all on this world cup at all imo
The vast majority of the top players have been on form. Ronaldo isn't fully fit and plays for a shit team.

Maybe a little too much but no real reason to kill themselves as it stands, maybe more in reserve for the next match Jason.

Guarin is such a good player, shame he's not played much of a part so far.

If The One Who Bites was playing, this game could have been.......different.

Looks like a deserved victory for Columbia.
