Thomas Muller to make history?
Muller could be the first player in history to finish top scorer at two consecutive World Cups.
He scored 5 in 2010 and won the golden boot courtesy of his 3 assists. He's currently on 4 at this tournament along with Neymar and Messi. He's just one of those players who you feel like is always going to score. |

He is a fantastic player who gets overlooked by a lot of fans, he can play midfield and score goals, I would not be surprised if he did win the Golden Boot again. I remember Adrian Durham, speaking the day before the Germany/England game in 2010, saying Muller was not a good player!! Wonder what he thinks now?

A very real possibility if they can win their second round match against Algeria, which they should, and then beat France or Nigeria in the quarter-final.
I've got the feeling though that Argentina have the slightly easier route on paper which I'd say slightly favours Messi to get more goals. |

Muller is just so...German. He's not outstandingly skilful or fast but his timing is fantastic and movement, he rarely errs in front of goal and he has sky-high performance levels. Got him E/W @ 33/1 to be top scorer and it was the only ante-post bet I laid that I didn't have a single doubt about.
Messi most likely to score most goals though. Argy's beginning to step up and I can't see the Swiss stopping them from scoring. |

Hard to believe he isn't an out and out striker...
