Sounds strange
Hi helpers, this is a strange one a few months ago i connected my sky multiscreen upstairs with a tv downstairs so i have 2 cables from the dish into upstairs TV plus 3 others going out 2 cat 5 and 1 sat cable for magic eye also using 2 baluns either end of cat 5 and a splitter so that the set up
Its been fine until a month ago when now sometimes the sound just goes off the TV upstairs ! Last night i tested it sound went off after 2 hours then off again after 15 mins then after 20 mins the only way to get the sound back on is to turn TV off then back on again The TV downstairs is fine no probs So any ideas please fault with toshiba TV ?Fault with my set up ? Thanks PM |

Faulty speakers or faulty soundboard. Being reset by switching TV off and back on again. If both speakers failing at same time then unlikely to be speakers that are problem - more likely to be soundcard inside TV.
Doubt its anything to do with Sky connectivity - or any other connectivity. Presumably this happens with whatever output you are watching, including Freeview from its own internal tuner? |
