Oh my god It's all happening at once, I just saw a short trailer actually on bbc one!
Didn't show much more than the original online one, but still
Intriguingly though, it did add Clara saying "I not sure I know who the doctor is any more"

P.s The trailer you Just posted was the one I was talking about that just aired on bbc one by the way. It's cool because when you start seeing the ad's on tv, it suddenly feels like it's really coming
didn't notice the first time but that trailer makes 12 seem slightly menacing already. The kind of darker doctor a lot of us expected. For me, that's a good thing.

Do I dare to hope that feature length actually means 90 min's and that is why it was only officially 12 episodes because the first is two episodes worth of run time in one meaning we still have effectively 13 episodes worth of run time?
Probably not the case I know, but wouldn't that be cool.
I trust Capaldi and Coleman to do a good job with the material they have. No real interest in a 'dark' Doctor that people seen so keen on and nor do I think we will get one.
Shame about the appalling photoshop for the promo image though! There are many, many fan artists who could do a better job than that - it's very lazy!

I say again I really am wondering whether it could possibly be 90 mins meaning two episode run time in one, and meaning that although 12 ep's officially would actually be 13 episodes worth of run time and we hadn't actually lost anything on previous years at all .
Maybe just wishful thinking, but until it's confirmed what they mean by 'feature length' I can speculate.

It won't be that long. Even the 50th wasn't that long. Likely it'll be an hour, similar to Matt's debut.
Guess 12 didn't like the colour... of the TARDIS.

You never know until they say. If it was an hour i'd think they would just say 'an hour long special'. To me 'feature length' implies more than an hour. they called the 50th 'feature length ad that was 75 mins so I take feature length to mean anything above an hour.
Of course I may well be completely wrong, and I know there is a likelihood it will just mean an hour, but we'll find out one way or another all in good time.
It's great how a new 16 second teaser, a promo picture and an airdate can make so many people so happy

I'm going to guess at 60 minutes like The Eleventh Hour and The Chrismas Invasion before it..as newly-regenerative episodes. Maybe they'll push for 70 minutes and I'll be impressed and surprised.
I truly hope that the likely lack of a 13th episode means we get a few more minutes for stories that generally need it. A two-part finale is a step in the right direction, if the final episode itself needs a five-ten minute extension, I really hope they give it rather than pandering to BBC America's commercialism.
