A fan has tweeted a trailer, the source being the BBC One twitter account, however @bbcone don't seem to have actually tweeted it so I'm struggling to get a link.

EDIT: Here's a youtube link. http://t.co/BzWCPsuI5Y

What makes you think it is fake. Where has he got footage from.

Ugh the Tardis looks like it's all the colours of the Union Jack inside how tacky.

I'm not saying it IS a fake.

Until it is officially released by the BBC I will take it for what it is.

I haven't seen the leaked episodes but is it not possible that is where the footage is from, or were they effect less, I dont know

The 'BBC' on the logo through out is a bit flickery but that's about it.

Bizarre. It was revealed as a 'secret' trailer - shared once by the BBC on Twitter before being deleted - and left for Social Media to circulate.

Before it appears on TV, presumably.

Blimey, the BBC have more leaks than a, um... a leaky thing...

It's undoubtedly real, I imagine it'll be posted officially and on TV soon enough.

It really doesn't. And Red/White/Blue is a colour scheme that features on quite a few flags.

Doesn't do the episode justice, IMO.

So how many times has that final line of dialogue been used in the show now?

Seven at least off the top of my head

Not a leak - the BBC twitter account released it on the web, citing it was a secret trailer.

The footage in the leak is covered in text and in black and white

Then it looks like it IS an official trailer.

Just heard a radio trail on Radio 5.

Interesting. Maybe this has been touted before - I've been avoiding these forums where I can for fear of spoilers - but perhaps the reason for the Doctor returning to the scene of an old adventure is him trying to find out where this particular face comes from? It would tie in quite well with the whole identity theme...

Possible, though the current understanding of that "returning to the scene of an old adventure" thing seems to point squarely at a Planet of Fire sequel, a Classic story filmed in Lanzarote, where the current team also recently visited. That adventure took place on an altogether different planet to Pompei, but they both have volcanoes....

Perhaps the TARDIS simply goes astray again.

Capaldi looks good I'm optimistic for his portrayal.

bbfc consumer advice for Deep Breath from www.bbfc.co.uk (Rated PG).

Quote:
“DOCTOR WHO DEEP BREATH is a new episode of the long running sci-fi TV series. This release includes an introduction and 'behind the scenes' extras.

Violence

There is some fighting with swords, as well as use of science fiction weapons. At one point, a robot is impaled, although the fact the character is a robot means there is no injury detail.

Threat

There are a number of scenes of mild threat, including a dinosaur running amok and alien robots threatening humans. There are several references to organs being 'harvested' by robots, as well as some sight of robots with human parts, although nothing gory is shown.

Sex

Mild references to flirting, as well as mild innuendo, including a woman thinking about muscular men doing 'sports'.

Language

There is one use of mild bad language ('bloody'), as well as use of milder terms ('hell' and 'God').

The film also contains sight of someone holding their breath to the point of almost fainting, in order to evade detection and capture by alien robots, and brief sight of a naked statue.”

I do get the impression they hold the 'sports' line in mild contempt.

A naked statue? (the worst kind) 'Sports'?Cursing? Blasphemy? Might not watch now, frankly.

Think of the children.

Eh, I wouldn't have posted that in full, myself. It reveals more about the episode and the villains than the BBC have - but oh well.

It is a statement from an official government quango that they expect parents to read before letting children see the episode. And it's not like it gave the end away.
