Basically. They couldn't at least try and make it a bit less obvious. Why won't they let them nominate as usual?

I guess they know it would probably be Danielle or Ashleigh next week and they don,t want to lose another female. Why can,t they leave nominations alone?
Just shows how the whole thing is planned out. If Ash had left, i wonder what the alternative "power" situation would have been? Likely Ashleigh having to pick someone to share the power with (Danielle).

BB has always reserved the right to change the rules as and when they please!
Well you guys must be new to BB. They've been doing this for years it's in their rule book. anyway I agree with this one because the way it's going it's gonna be Helen and 7 guys at the halfway point
i don't know why they need to always twist things up. just put them in the house and leave them alone.
Not to mention One week its (in booming echo voice) "Jale, you will face eviction every week" next week its "er, no we changed that, you're safe".

If that was how the voting went then tough!!!
Endemol/Channel 5 falling into the same mistakes that always happens with long running TV series, they think they have to keep changing things to keep viewers watching.
The show at this point in time is so far removed from what it started as that it may as well be called a different name.
Hopefully Endemol and Viacom or whoever realize this at some point and go 'back to basics'.
In fact thats what next years BB should be - 'Big Brother: Back To Basics', put the show back to how it was in the early series.

Yes and as a condition of entry you cant even have or have ever had a Facebook or Twitter account
I think I just have to give up on BB now 
One of my favourite bits of any eviction night was watching the evictee see who nominated them, as well as watching the nominations on the highlights show, but it seems the nomination process has more or less been done away with. This, along with not being able to watch any clips online to keep up with what's happening has sadly robbed me of my favourite part of the BB experience and being able to post on here about events as they unfolded. I just don't feel a part of the forum anymore as I can't comment on any vid threads as I can't view them. I have been an avid follower since BB3 but I think now is the time to finally give up the ghost. This just isn't BB anymore

I don't see how this is a criticism at all - surely making it up as you go along is completely the right thing to do with a show like this 
What's the alternative? Everything is meticulously pre planned before the series starts, despite having no idea how the series pans out and therefore as a result twists etc will fall in the completely wrong place with disastrous results?
The power twist this week was needed because to prevent another ridiculous string of female evictees. Would people really want to watch a house with only those 8 men?

There are NO rules in BB & never have been from the first series to this one! As for the YOU decide bit, that has never changed.....you get to decide who goes FROM who is nominated. You have never decided WHO is nominated, so the twist is no different!

One of the PROBLEMS is an hour ago Jale was NOMINATED every week (big brothers words not mine) but now SHE isn't. So you don't DECIDE from who's nominated, DO you?
