Hope she gets well soon, think she will be around for a while yet, which is great news considering the fact that a lot of us on here thought she had died earlier in the week, although a Stroke even a minor one at 88 years of age is bound to of taken a lot out of her.

I'm realising lately how much I adore this lady. Really happy to hear our Hilda's recovering well.

The lack of posts on here show why soap has gone downhill.
All this fan fare for actresses like Michelle Keegan when real actresses are shuned and almost forgotten. REAL Coronation Street legends. |

"don't write me off yet" implies she could even be back in Corrie, at some point.
It can only be legendary actresses and actors of her ilk that could possibly save this sinking ship. Michelle Keegan - PFFFTTT Jean Alexander - BIG THUMBS - UP Seriously - hope that Jean gets well soon. |

If she has turned down Corrie so often, and so recently, I doubt she'll have a change of heart now her health is deteriorating. |

Doubt it. "don't write me off" is a phrase.

She retired in 2012. She turned down many offers to return to the Street over the years and I don't blame her. It's not the same programme.
Glad to hear she's feeling a bit better. I liked her in Last of the Summer Wine as well. |
