Yeah, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Linda has been a mother since she was a child herself, and now she's finally accepted that Johnny isn't a child anymore I can see her panicking about where this leaves her in life. And it's not like she's too old to have a baby. But I bet Mick won't want it, and I can see Dean getting involved somehow.

They did this with the last two longtime married couples they introduced as well. Max and Tanya and Masood and Zainab both arrived having been married for years with older children and both went on to have another baby with big age gap.

Personally I think there is too many pregnancies..once the babies are born, they spend the whole time explaining why the child isn't around...except for Lexi haha.

Do we think Mick wants another child too?

At least with a Carter baby we'd escape the awful 'OW DO I FEED ME KIDS' nonsense we have to endure from Bianca, Kat and Alfie, Lola and billy etc. as they have a pretty stable environment to bring a kid up.

That's a good point.

I hope this is not a way of pushing Linda towards Dean. I want her and Mick to stay together, otherwise we will end up in a circle of them breaking up and then getting back together. Linda is an awesome character, she deserves better than this.

I don't know I just feel like 20 years is a bit too much of a gap for siblings

What if she has one night with Dean then she doesnt know if baby is Dean's or Mick's then after the birth she gets DNA results and it says it is probably a sibling of Mick's and she finds out Mick is Shirleys son via that?

Sounds too contrived and we have had too many whose the daddy plots.

I don't think it will amount to much. We already have Tina and Tosh baby planning, Kat and Alfie's twins coming, Ronnie returning most likely still pregnant.

It'll just be a bit of "empty next" syndrome for Linda and then they'll move on. Or give her an early menopause story when she fails to conceive.

It's not surprising. She's still quite young and her children are growing up. Wonder if Mick wants another one though. That could cause tension if he doesn't.

Mick would probably say "Let's officially adopt Tina and Shirley and then you can fuss and obsess over them as much as I do!"

It's plausible, but I can honestly say I could see them leaving Mick and Linda faithful to each other.

Unless they went really dark and went the rape storyline.

I don't think they'll make Linda pregnant though. I just hope Dean doesn't get involved and begins an affair.

That would make a change, a pregnancy actually being planned.

Puts me in mind of Pauline and Arthur Fowler's late baby, Martin. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Strangely I was thinking this might happen the other day! If quite like this and both Mick and Linda are still young enough to have another baby
