The religion is passed through the mother, so you wouldn't know by her last name which is passed through the father.

Actually, that's not her real surname. But, yes, she's Slavic of some kind. But born and raised in California.

Not all Jews have traditional Jewish surnames. Alan Sugar is Jewish, and you wouldn't know just from his name.

I think Sugar is an anglicised version of Zucker - which is German for sugar

So not Jewish then. She also mentioned to Danielle that she walked out of a church that had an anti-gay agenda, so presumably from a Christian/Catholic background.
