Perhaps he gets knocked out in the kitchen whilst preparing the hotpots and wakes up believing he is Betty.

Now that would be a good plot!

Maybe he'll get involved with a married man - a Tory MP would be good

Or he could fall for someone young and merciless who spends all his money then makes him steal from the pub, Eileen and the factory. The guy would soon be off of course, leaving poor Sean skint, jobless, friendless, homeless and perhaps facing criminal proceedings
bib: A happy ending then!

I love how we've had no word of this since Anthony Cotton 'claimed' it was happening.

Does it have something to do with him being in the hospital a few weeks ago?

Such a non-story!!

I mean who cares about this dead end character.

It ITV were really that concerned about ratings, it would realise that no wants to watch dead end characters

Daniel is a brillaint actor. Shame he's being lumbered with Anthony Cotton to act alongside. He was great in Emmerdale, and also did a brief stint in EE. I wonder if they remember Sophie's religious for this story, amd that Emily was very accepting of her.

And Oaks covered this years back with John Paul and Kieran.

Didn't they say when it first came out that the storyline had never been done before, yet as you said they did it on Hollyoaks.

Neither has a public hanging!

Why can't they do that with Cotton?

But Anthony said it was something that had never been done before, not had never been done in Corrie before. Maybe they don't realise that HO have already done this storyline.

Crap actor, unlikeable character. Really can't understand why he's still there or why he was even hired in the first place. Must say a lot about the inept writing team.

I agree with those saying Cotton's range is less than adequate. In fact I think his acting ability has become so limited it's got to a point where I really can't tell when Sean's being sarky or when he's genuinely happy about something.
Totally agree but sadly he won't be axed under Stuart Blackburn.

I remember him as Ivan in Emmerdale.

At least as he's gay it might make it easier for him to work with Cotton, (I'd pity any straight bloke having to pretend to fancy him!) but Good Grief! Someone who has worked at the RSC lumbered with someone who can't even act!
Poor Danny! He must be desperate for work!

Having gay producers probably helps his chances of keeping his job, but all the producers since 2004 have kept him on. He must have something on them all! Can't believe he's been there 10 years!

I remember saying years and years ago you can always tell he's trying to be 'serious/dramatic' - he crosses his arms and looks at the floor. I thought it was hilarious when someone recently said he still does that! lol

Ahh, John Paul and the catholic priest, Kieron from HO.
That takes me back!

I thnk you need to be able to act to pull of a storyline like that, so they'll surely never do it in Corrie with Lettuce (as he used to call him years ago when he was mentioned on the Todd thread! lol)
