What Eastenders Storylines are you currently enjoying
A year ago we didn't really have any storylines in the show, twelve months on and there are currently loads of things going on. So what are you enjoying and why?

I'm enjoying everything other than Kat and Alfie.
The Carters are great and bring a great new dynamic, although I do wish Lee never returns as his acting is awful. The have so many slow burning storylines simmering away. I do wish Johnny could invent a few new facial expressions though, perhaps a night in Luca's bed on all fours could get a few new expressions out of him. The is he dead isn't he Nick Cotton storyline is also building up nicely, poor Dot. |

I'm enjoying the Carters storylines, especially Johnny's. I like the Ian teaching Mick how to swim, that was really nice. Although, I felt he got over his fear quite quickly which in reality I don't see happening! The Tina/Tosh/Sonia storyline I find interesting, it's obvious Tosh is abusive so interested to see how EE continue with this storyline.

I'm loving the Carters, especially looking forward to the Shirley/Mick reveal and the truth about Sylvie. Also dying to find out about Charlie and his secret...they are both very slow burners at the mo though!

I pray all these slow burners don't just turn out to be damp squibs.
Would love to hear an "ello Ma" from nasty Nick and hope the Shirley "i'm ya mum" reveal is actually plausable |

Added other for: the mystery of Yvonne, Denise's dilemma and Phil/Dean. |

I am intreguied to know where the Ian/Rainy storyline is going. Rainy had a good relationship with Lauren, I wonder if they'll reconnect? I hope she doesn't disappear when she's had enough money from Ian.
I noticed Ronnies Pregnancy in the poll-could somebody fill me in on storyline? Use spoilers if it hasn't been revealed yet. Thanks! |

Currently, the Phil/Sharon/Shirley/Dean stuff is reigning supreme. Dean is twisted, but the most nuanced male character EE has seen in years. Sharon is back to her best. Phil and Shirley deserve to be shot. I cannot wait for Sharon to fire that gun at whoever gets caught in the crossfire of this twisted love triangle. When Sharon finds out that Phil organised the attack, she's not going to confront him. She's going to let her revenge plot bubble away, and then she's going to take him for everything he has got on 19th February 2015, the day of their double wedding day with Ian and Denise. This will also be the week that (hopefully) the Mitchell's reunite - with Peggy, Sam, Grant, Courtney and Glenda all back on the scene. As well as Ronnie dying during childbirth; Grant finally discovering that Mark Jr, who will hopefully turn up with his mum Michelle for Sharon's wedding, is his son; and Denise being revealed as Lucy's killer.
*Sigh*... if only the producers had the balls. |

Kat's pregnancy mainly. I was a massive fan of Kat and Alfie back in the day and now that Berkwood and his unimaginitive storylines for them have gone, I am enjoying watching them once again. Glad to see Alfie getting the children he so deserves. A much better basis for a pregnancy storyline than an entitled teenager, a child kidnapper and murderer or Tina and Tosh with domestic violence issues.
I voted for Max and Emma purely because I was tiring of the Lucy storyline and am looking forward to them being found out to spice things up again. Also Aleks and Roxy, Charlie Cotton and Rainie's storylines, but I missed that one off. |

I too am glad that Alfie is getting his own kids at last he does indeed deserve them, I only wish one of them had been a girl! |

I am still hoping. There are about four articles and they all seem to be using the original one as a source (Daily Star.) Names/genders aren't usually revealed this early. If we'd listened to the papers then Alfie would have had a kid with his sister-in-law years ago.
I thought the source was an EE website. Good! I hope the Daily Star is wrong! When exactly are the twins due? Wouldn't it be lovely if Kat and Alfie got remarried beforehand? Methinks it's time we had a nice wedding! |

I'm enjoying most of EE these days. Even the stories that I'm not invested in are interesting enough to keep me occupied.

Methinks it's time we had a nice wedding! I would presume that they were conceived on Alfie's wedding night and therefore due in August. I would guess that they'll be born in July though, as twins are usually a month premature. I'm kind of in two minds about a wedding. It does seem odd that Mick and Linda and Dot are the only married people in the Square. I can't see Ian/Denise or Phil/Sharon lasting. Looking back, Kat and Alfie have been happier when they weren't married, though. I hope it'd be a small ceremony, both for financial reasons and because their first wedding was perfect. Nana Moon, Zoe, Spencer and all of Kat's sisters were there. It will seem strange them getting remarried with people missing. |

When you put them all in a list like this I don't actually enjoy the vast majority of these storylines. I think I'm enjoying the characters more than the storylines. I love the Carters (minus Shirley and Tina) and I love Sharon but none of the storylines they have are all that interesting at the minute. I suppose the Charlie Cotton story is interesting but we don't see enough of it.
The Lucy storyline is horrdendously boring. I wish it could be forgotten about or wrapped up quickly. Just a horribly dull storyline centred around horribly dull characters. It drags everything down. Ditto Tina and Tosh. |

I voted for quite a few actually which shows that it must be decent at least. I am really looking forward to seeing Kat and Alfie with the twins though. I'm hoping for a boy and a girl!
On a side note, 300th post
