Anyone have a Prestigio phone.
What is it like, good /bad experiences. Is it worth the money?

At that price, Just buy a Moto G. It's far better than anything Prestigio offer.
trust me, that phone is overpriced for the spec. And prestegio aren't exactly a great manufacturer. |

ive got to agree for that price i dont think its that gr8, the ee kestrel is better has 4G is and £80 less so unless having a screen that big is important id say the ee kestrel if 4g was wanted or infact a moto g much better and both around the £100 mark

If it's anything like the Prestigio wireless streamer also sold by Maplin I'd avoid it like the plague.

Thanks, is that from experience or presumption.
Prestigio products never really get reviewed well as they use cheap parts. Plus the specs on paper are pretty bad for the price. |

That's quite a high price as well, £129.99 at Play.com.

The screen resolution is bad for a display that big... only 185 ppi. You would see pixels. The Moto G is at least HD and costs less.

I have a Prestigio phone and I am happy with it and the battery life is quite good, I purchased it from QVC and before that I bought a Prestigio tablet that I am really pleased with.
I purchased my phone last year I think it was and the tablet in 2012 and since then I bought the latest model with the interchangeable covers for my Mum and she uses it a lot and is happy, as for reviews I'm don't always go for reviews as I find it is a matter of opinion. Take Which for example and around 2008 I purchased a Tevion HD ready television from Aldi and I am really happy with it as it has an excellent picture on it especially on HD you can really notice the difference, but when we used to have Which delivered which we have not had since 2011/12 I saw no reviews for Tevion sets which I find a shame. Back to the Prestigio phones and I have seen that Ideal World also sell them and have recently featured the model with the different coloured covers, but will they be included in reviews?. That is why I have to disagree somewhat with Jabbamk1 as have you purchased anything from them and what was it?. Also please tell us what problem you found/had with it. Anyway I would just wrap up with saying that it is as I have already said a matter of personal experience and taste and yes if there are reviews on a website and lots of them give 1 star then avoid but if there are mixed with some 5 stars then I would say to buy as you can always return products within a certain period if you are not happy. |
