Cooling break? If there having them here, imagine what it'll be like in Qatar.
Cooling breaks every 15 minutes probably.

I think the Dutch would be happier with this drinks break. Mexico were well on top and if I was them, I'd be miffed at the momentum they'd established being broken for some Diet Coke with Ice.

These conditions are crap for football. Cannavaro's laugh needs to be a ringtone.

What I thought we were getting those air conditioned stadiums?

It's easy to blame the heat for not scoring

Terrible performance from Holland thus far and the most cagey game of the tournament - couldn't believe that Mexico were 11/4 to win this one in running (after 15 mins) so couldn't resist a wee flutter.

Why do all the worst games in the world cup involve the Dutch and their passive football??

Surprised ITV haven't taken the opportunity to stick in some more adverts.

If this was in USA you can bet your bottom dollar that would've been a Coca Cola CoolDown™

I like him, also think he's a good manager. Just unapologetic and tells it like it is in these days of hype and bullshit.

Can they send Clarke out for a cooling break and then just lock the doors. I lose the will to live with his on the radio and look at what a clever boy I am style.

Drinks break's not really helped Holland then.

This "cooling break" concept is not good for the game, it breaks the flow.

Obviously they shouldn't be hosting football competitions in such temps. And even they do, the players should just play a different game to allow for the temps.

I hope it's not a FIFA cunning plan to break America...

heat, as well as humidity will obviously be factored in, particularly for Holland.

Well Qatar did say they'd counter heat with something like that. Whether it would be enough I don't know.

Mexico playing as though they have two more men than Holland, but no final ball.

First goal will be crucial you do not want to chase the game in this heat.

No but the 3 minutes should be added on at the end of the half.

No, I guess it'll be added on to injury time.

People can't even sit in the stands in this heat yet FIFA expect players to play football. Absolutely nuts, no surprise at all that this has been a poor game so far.

Naughty there from Martins Indi.

Of course the heat can fray tempers quicker too.

This is ridiculous. Playing football in 40 degree heat!

Can only imagine what Qatar will be like.

People keep blaming the heat for this match, but there has been far hotter games than this at WC.

Ireland vs Mexico in 94' was over 110F/42C (the temperature was recorded live on the pitch). Still an ok game. F*cked Ireland though.
