Samsung SMT S7800 Invisible timers won't let me record !
Hi,
Thanks for reading this.... Having great difficulty setting the timer on my box. We are trying to record Master Chef and the timer list is empty.. When we try to set the record series, the box comes up with conflict with a another set recording for Master Chef (note.. Nothing is visible in timers !) I can not delete the record setting that conflicts, OK'ing on the delete bin does nothing.... Any thoughts please... p.s Just found the latest firmware off samsungs web site and updated it.. Also reset to defaults and re setup the box but it is still the same.... HELP !! |

What happens if you try to record it as a single programme?

It appears to accept the program record request when you try a single programme... Just don't know where it has saved the "invisible" record settings !
Only just started to have the problem in the last few days... Ever since the box lost some timer record settings... Its been fine for last couple of years.. Very strange ! Phil... |

Have you tried setting a Series Record on a different programme? This could be a broadcaster cock-up not allocating the correct series id for the programme across all channels variants so it automatically thinks there is a clash and does nothing.
