iPhone 5 problems
Got a couple of problems with the phone and would be delighted if anyone could help or point me in the right direction:
For some reason most of my radio app don't work and the few that do, only work on WiFi but always cut out after 30 seconds or so! And the loading icon on the top menu beside the wifi icon is spinning all the time, even when i have all the apps shut down. I also did a restore via iTunes and this made no difference!

You need to provide more info:
Which app for radio? Which phone network are you with? The spinning thing next to wifi is data activity. It could be a background process happening. Do you have the latest version of iOS installed (7.1.1)? In Settings > General > do you have Background App Refresh enabled? Which ones are switched on? |

Normally turning the phone off and back on will sort the spinning data activity icon

iOS 7.1.2 has just been released; you could try updating to the latest firmware and seeing what happens?

The notes on this release don't seem to indicate anything to do with background data processes. It just mentions iBeacon connectivity, data transfer to 3rd party accessories, and a fix regarding mail attachments.

Yep, try the lastest update.
Media is reckoned to be one of the main things IOS 7 crashes on, 2nd only to games, with some even saying IOS 7 is like having WIndows 95 all over again. Media uses memory buffering and games are a memory hog so it like could be that memory hole thing. |
