Nigeria have started strongly.
Yep, I blame the poor pitch and the anti-French American ref.

Fantastic save by Enyeama!

Brilliant French move spearheaded by Pogba.

Valbuena's ball back to him was superb.

Not for the first time I am wondering if this is the Pogba who is supposed to be a good player or a lousy impersonator?
Did you see that move just now?

Would have been a fantastic goal.

Very entertaining opening to the match - just need a goal, now.

I've already drawn attention to my public humiliation

Somewhere a United supporter cries every time Pogba plays.

I've yet to be overly convinced Giroud can be a top player.

Another disappointing Nigerian corner.

Most of the corners we've seen in this World Cup have been poor, frankly.

He's never played for Sheffield United...

Maybe it really is the pitches, free kicks too have been poor overall.

Aside from Suarez against England; he nearly scored directly from two corners.

Good pace and energy from both sides, like a decent premier league game so far more so than the usual international style of play. Good to see both sides attacking.

Two of the most comical moments of the World Cup so far. Actually, I can't think of anything that's made me laugh more. You wouldn't even expect a Sunday league player to abandon their front post duties the way Welbeck did.

Nigeria have done very well given as good as they've got and look dangerous when they attack.

Its all about when France get the first goal. As soon as they score you can see a few follow.

Very impressed this world cup with Blaise Matuidi.

(Hope that doesn't lead to an own goal, I'm on a roll up hill at the moment)
