Loved David Luiz's goal celebration, right up there with Tardelli's.

Call him 'Hamez' as that's how it's pronounced or call him Rodriguez as we usually use the surnames for players.”

They've done it a couple of times with Dante as well tonight.
As he'll probably play next time out; all that to look forward to.

Good thing Valbuena didn't encounter a grasshopper like that - he'd have been crushed!

Certainly. But that would have the added derby situation and the atmosphere.

David Luiz, Davvid Louise or David Luishe??? Different comms pronounce it differently. Ask the ****ing guy and get it right.

I had to check with my partner as I thought this was the final with that reaction

Must have been the adrenalin, but imagine that flying in your face just before you take a penalty.

The atmosphere would be incredible, I wonder how many tickets would go to Argentinian fans.

James did not deserve to be on the losing side. Dont buy players on the back of a world cup? I'd have him at the drop of a hat!

Why aren't Brazil allowed to win ugly? They are not oblidged to offer Samba style football. They haven't been beaten yet and deserve to be in the semi's.

Easily worth £50m+. Hopefully he can bulk up a bit over the next few years so he can ride fouls the way Messi does.

Holland v Germany are like derby matches, but with lots of additional venom thrown in.

This is the worst Brazil team I've ever seen.

Germany should take them apart... and I hope they do. I can't think of anything worse than such a piss poor Brazil team winning the World Cup.

God knows how they have got this far.

They haven't been playing samba football for donkey's years anyway. They didn't win the 1994 or 2002 World Cups through beautiful football. But they did have better individuals back then.

Because football is not a game of who can notch up the most fouls - it's a game of skill when played properly!

They won't win many friends playing like that though : 31 fouls and they could easily have had five or six yellows

I agree. A win is a win, it doesn't matter if it's pretty or ugly.

If it means Argentina and Brazil out I don't mind.

It won't happen though.
