Morning all,

I was curious to see if the 1st July EU changes had revealed anything new in respect of EE. Curiously, the roaming pages have now added a new plan called 'Test4' ??

Give it time. Not every network is going to have it in place and running 100% everywhere today.

Hi Doc2008,

That article is out of date.

O2 are now offering 100MB / day for £1.99 which is good value.

In respect of EE, the 30 day 1GB package for £25 has been pulled.

It might possibly have something to do with the way they restrict all data access unless you have a data add on.

Not quite. Anyone on the legacy roaming plans still has access to the discounted roaming data.

I believe the reason behind the MMS restriction is merely technical. EE's system charges MMS at the same rate globally at 40p a go. As the EU cap now restricts this to 19.8p when roaming in the EU it causes an issue. So whilst they sort out a way of charging less for MMS in the EU it will be barred.
