Friday 22nd August - talkSPORT Live and Bundesliga English
Bundesliga
Bayern Munchen v VfL Wolfsburg - Tom Rennie
The new Bundesliga season starts tonight and fans of German club football may want to add the Bundesliga English audio channel as one of their TuneIn favourites:

It looks as if the level of coverage the Bundesliga's English language international feed audio service is providing this season will be expanded upon what we got when it was launched during the second half of last season. Back then, Bundesliga English would provide two commentaries per matchround - typically a simulcast of the television world feed from the Friday night game and then a radio-style commentary produced by the talkSPORT Live international feed on either the Saturday 5.30pm UK time game or one of the two Sunday games.
This season, it looks as if all four of the weekend's fixtures from the Bundesliga's standalone timeslots will be covered by Bundesliga English, with tonight's commentary being done by talkSPORT Live's English language editor Tom Rennie. talkSPORT Live's regular Bundesliga commentator last season, Kevin Hatchard, has tweeted that he'll be commentating on Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen in the late game on Saturday and Borussia Monchengladbach v VfB Stuttgart in the late game on Sunday. Paderborn v Mainz in Sunday's early Bundesliga game is also listed as a commentary, it'll be interesting to find out if that is a talkSPORT Live in-house job or if they'll be simulcasting the TV world feed.
It's probably worth me pointing out that while talkSPORT Live's audio commentaries on Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup games are geoblocked in the UK and Republic of Ireland, there's no such restrictions on their Bundesliga coverage - I believe they are even available in Germany! Speaking of talkSPORT Live's Premier League coverage, there's due to be co-commentary debuts on that service over the weekend for Danny Higginbotham, Fabrice Muamba and the former Arsenal, Walsall and Wales full-back Rhys Weston. Tottenham Hotspur v Queens Park Rangers will be their featured 1.30pm Sunday commentary, while Chelsea v Leicester City is their pick of the Saturday 3pm games.
