I think Clyde 2 had commentary from Inverness v Celtic, which I'd assume was Tom Miller and Ian McCall. But it's tricky for me to get these details when I'm at away games. Perhaps I need to invest in a radio that can record...
I think that I mentioned earlier that Tom Miller and Joe Miller commentated on the lunchtime match for Clyde 2 with Roger Hannah reporting for Clyde 1.

Saturday 23rd August - Free Radio 80s

Tom Ross presented The Goalzone from Griffin Park

Premier League
Aston Villa v Newcastle United - Richard Hurst and Pat Heard
Southampton v West Bromwich Albion - Chris Coles and Tony Brown

Championship
Brentford v Birmingham City - Tom Ross and Kevan Broadhurst (3pm commentary in Birmingham, the Black Country and Shropshire)
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Cardiff City - Mikey Burrows and Andy Thompson

Just the one commentary for The Goalzone on Saturday with reports on the other three games involving their local clubs, including the early kick-off which notably was an Aston Villa home game. For much of last season, Free Radio 80s were unable to do commentaries on non-local derby matches at Villa Park, something this seems to suggest will be continuing this season.

Richard Hurst was also The Goalzone's reporter at West Bromwich Albion v Sunderland who I was unable to identify last week, but can now thanks to Absolute Radio's live match producer Carl Ralley giving him a mention on Twitter. Like Ralley, Hurst does a fair bit of work on the South Coast as a sports reporter for talkSPORT Live's Alex Crook's M&Y News Agency. He also worked as Portsmouth's stadium announcer and on Quay Radio before moving to the Midlands to present on the Hereford & Worcester version of Free Radio and work as the stadium announcer at Worcester Warriors RFC and Worcestershire CCC. It looks like he'll be covering matches for The Goalzone on days when all four of their clubs are playing now that Olly Wilson has started reporting for talkSPORT's Matchday Live.

There's no Goalzone Sports Bar with Tom Ross and Ian Taylor tonight as it's a bank holiday.

Monday 25th August - talkSPORT

Mark Saggers presenting Kick Off alongside Clive Allen and Darren Lewis from the Daily Mirror

Premier League
Manchester City v Liverpool - Dom McGuinness

Tennis: US Open
Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, New York - Kate Partridge

Not sure who would have covered the first cricket One-Day International between England and India had it gone ahead. Usually this summer it's been Jon Norman reporting with Jack Bannister providing end-of-session/innings summaries.

talkSPORT Live

Premier League
Manchester City v Liverpool - Tom Rennie and Alan McLoughlin

I'm guessing BBC Radio Humberside's commentator was Grahame Lloyd, a freelancer who typically covers games in the East of England and will be familiar to listeners of talkSPORT, BBC Radio Wales and Today FM's football coverage. Geographically this would make sense, as according to his Twitter biography he is based in Lincoln.

Tuesday 26th August - talkSPORT

Mark Saggers presented Kick Off from StadiumMK alongside Clive Allen

UEFA Champions League Play-Off Round Second Leg
Celtic v NK Maribor - Graham Courtney

Capital One Cup Second Round
Burnley v Sheffield Wednesday - Naz Premji
Gillingham v Newcastle United - Tony Incenzo
Leicester City v Shrewsbury Town - Geoff Peters
Millwall v Southampton - Chris Parrott
MK Dons v Manchester United - Jim Proudfoot and Clive Allen (8pm commentary), with George Cummins producing
Swansea City v Rotherham United - Graham Beecroft
West Bromwich Albion v Oxford United - Paul Walker
West Ham United v Sheffield United - Ian Abrahams

Yes, it was the same Paul Walker formerly of BBC Radio Sheffield and currently of BBC TV's Football League Show and Radio 5 Live fame who was making his debut as part of the talkSPORT reporting team tonight. Between 4-7pm, Adrian Durham and MK local Darren Gough presented Drive Time from StadiumMK prior to the live coverage.

talkSPORT didn't carry any updates on the games that went into extra-time and penalties after 10pm during The Sports Bar as a far as I heard, the same having been true on First Round Tuesday. A strange decision that, as they carried quite a few commentaries on penalty shootouts from early round Capital One Cup ties on the equivalent nights last season.

Looking ahead to the next few weeks, I see that Stan Collymore is scheduled to be back alongside Sam Matterface for both of talkSPORT's live Premier League commentaries this weekend - Everton v Chelsea on Saturday at teatime and then Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool on Sunday at 1.30pm (with Aston Villa v Hull City, Sunday's other 1.30pm kick-off, due to be a Radio 5 Live commentary game to be joined in-progress after their coverage on MotoGP's British Grand Prix). Stan is also listed to join Mark Saggers for Monday night Kick Off on transfer deadline day.

Jim Proudfoot and Stan Collymore are scheduled to be talkSPORT's commentary team at the England v Norway friendly next Wednesday, with Jim also listed to commentate on the Switzerland v England Euro 2016 qualifier (presumably with Stan) on Monday 8th September. Over that weekend, Richard Keys and Andy Gray are down to present between 6-9pm on Saturday 6th in the absence of any live Premier League football, while on Sunday 7th rugby union show Full Contact is scheduled to return between 8-10pm - with it due to be presented by Brian Moore rather than Andrew McKenna. It looks as if Ray Stubbs has taken over the presenting duties of the show preceding it, The Press Pass between 6-8pm, with original host Des Kelly having left it due to his BT Sport commitments.

A few thoughts on Paul Walker's appearance on talkSPORT last night. I don't suppose that many people can say that they've covered a Sunday afternoon game for BBC Radio 5 Live and then reported on a match for talkSPORT two days later as Walker can now. Those of you who are familiar with my posts in the Football Commentators threads in the Broadcasting section of Digital Spy may know I'm not a massive fan of Walker's work on The Football League Show to say the least, but despite that I can see the logic in talkSPORT bringing him in to their reporting team now that he has gone freelance after leaving BBC Radio Sheffield in the summer (should last night's showing not prove to be a complete one-off). Their reporting team has lacked a dedicated Yorkshire-based correspondent since Tim White stopped freelancing for them to concentrate on his eponymous media consultancy (responsible for the Russian Premier League's world feed among other things) around five years ago now. During the intermittent period, reporting duty on home games involving clubs from the county has mostly been shared between Graham Courtney, John Temple and Grahame Lloyd, all of whom primarily cover either the North-East or Humberside, with Manchester-based Dom McGuinness having to cross the Pennines on a fair few occasions, so this was an area of the country where they weren't as well represented as they could have been. However this season they seem to have more than made up for this gap in their network of correspondents, having called upon Radio Yorkshire's Michael Weadock and now Walker (albeit neither have actually covered a game played in their home county yet!).

Wednesday 28th August - talkSPORT

Mark Saggers presented Kick Off from Villa Park with Ray Parlour at the Emirates Stadium and Kevin Phillips at St Andrew's

UEFA Champions League Play-Off Round Second Leg
Arsenal v Besiktas - Mike Bovill and Ray Parlour

Capital One Cup Second Round
Aston Villa v Leyton Orient - Graham Beecroft and Mark Saggers
Birmingham City v Sunderland - Olly Wilson and Kevin Phillips
Bradford City v Leeds United - Graham Courtney
Burton Albion v Queens Park Rangers - Tony Incenzo
Stoke City v Portsmouth - Simon Humphreys

Cricket: Second One-Day International
England v India - Guy Swindells, with Jack Bannister providing end-of-innings summaries

Tennis: US Open
Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, New York - Kate Partridge

I think I'm correct in saying that tonight was a talkSPORT punditry debut for Kevin Phillips, at least as far as live match coverage is concerned (he's certainly been interviewed as a guest on various shows many times and he may have been a studio pundit on Kick Off when it has been purely a discussion programme as opposed to Around the Grounds). I've always liked KP and have enjoyed what I've heard of his Sky Sports punditry work, so I wouldn't mind hearing him on talkSPORT in this capacity again in the future.

I'm pretty sure that KP has also appeared as one of Alan Brazil's guest co-presenters in the past, might only have been once. I remember it because it was just before he signed to go to Leicester recently and Alan was hoping for the exclusive announcement on-air...
