Weston super Mare v Doncaster
planned commentary team of Pete Simson
and former Bristol Rovers player David (Boris?) Mehew a summeriser.

Monday 17th November - talkSPORT

Mark Saggers presented Kick Off: Monday Night Feist Night from Clyde 2 studios, Glasgow with Stan Collymore

Under-21 International Friendly
France Under-21s v England Under-21s - Graham Courtney

Unusual to hear that a show on talkSPORT, a UTV Radio-owned station, was broadcast from the studios of Bauer Media-owned Clyde 2. Of course a few years ago, a talkSPORT show broadcast from Scotland would have come from the studios of their now-defunct Edinburgh-based former sister station Talk 107.

Craig Brown, Gordon Smith and Jim Fleeting were among Saggers and Stan's studio guests, although I understand that tomorrow night their commentary team on Scotland v England will just be Jim Proudfoot and Stan Collymore. There won't be an additional co-commentator and pundit providing a Scottish angle as was Craig Brown's role on talkSPORT's coverage when Scotland visited Wembley last season.

Edit: A minute silence at the ground means 5LSX cuts back to the 'Coming up on...'

Mark Saggers presenting Kick Off: International Special from Celtic Park alongside Stan Collymore

International Friendlies
Scotland v England - Jim Proudfoot and Stan Collymore (8pm commentary), with Jon Norman producing

No Ian Danter on pitchside reporting duty tonight, despite him having been with the England squad all week in his role as the station's England correspondent.

Bit of a shame TS couldn't be doing with a Scottish voice tonight

Mark Pougatch is with Pat Nevin on 5Live

Then it's John Murray, Alan Green and Danny Mills

Conor McManara is at OT

Once again, I listened to radio commentary of another game (this time the W-S-M FA cup tie on Radio Bristol) whilst Midweek Final Score was on the Red Button 'channel'.

For some reason there wasn't a time caption, like what normally happens when they do Champions League games or whatever, nor were the scorers names given. (Also if the Red Button TV was believed, commentary was from John Murray and Alan Green, without a co-commentator)

Radio Bristol did say a reporter was at W-S-M for 5 Live, but I did not see any caption appear for a reporters name. Only the following:-

Sheffield United v Crewe Alexandra (FA Cup 1st round replay) - Peter Slater
Mansfield Town v Concord Rangers (FA Cup 1st round) - Naz Premji

Tuesday 18th November - RTE 2fm

John Kenny presented Game On from the Aviva Stadium alongside Pat Fenlon and Johnny McDonnell

International Friendly
Republic of Ireland v USA - Adrian Eames and Brian Kerr (7.45pm commentary), with Siobhan Madigan at pitchside

Newstalk 106-108FM

Joe Molloy presented Off The Ball alongside Cian Murtagh and Colm Parkinson

International Friendly
Republic of Ireland v USA - Stewie Byrne

Today FM had Philip Egan reporting from the Aviva Stadium on the Republic of Ireland v USA friendly during John Duggan's evening sports news bulletins.

Just to note that Cian Murtagh was part of Newstalk's studio team with Ger Gilroy, Colm Parkinson and Stephen McPhail for their coverage of Scotland v Republic of Ireland on Friday night - the rest of the details are in post #786.

BBC Radio Surrey (also on 5LSX)

Aldershot Town v Portsmouth (FA Cup 1st round replay) - Gavin Dennison (host) and Rob Worrall, with Tim Durrans pitchside reporter

BFBS also have an Aldershot specific slot on their Saturday Music and Sports show (you can usually hear it at around 2:20pm), so it wouldn't surprise me if Richard Wyeth was there in some kind of role.

In other radio-ey news, with it being FA Cup replay 'week' Radio York's commentators can be heard on the AFC Wimbedon v York City game that's being looped on the red button right now (or endlessly via the Sport website) and also Radio Lancashire on Accrington Stanley v Notts County.

There may have been others but I haven't watched/seen all of them yet.

Wednesday 19th November - Express FM 93.7

Dan Windle presenting Pompey Live from the Electrical Services Stadium

FA Cup First Round Replay
Aldershot Town v Portsmouth - Dan Windle, Dave Bowers and Alan Knight (commentary, also on Pompey Player)

To post fuller details of the BBC Local Radio commentaries that are being used on the BBC Red Button's loop of last night's nine FA Cup ties, the games with commentary dubbed onto them are Mansfield Town v Concord Rangers (BBC Essex), AFC Wimbledon v York City (BBC Radio York), Accrington Stanley v Notts County (BBC Radio Lancashire) and Rochdale v Northampton Town (BBC Radio Northampton), with a clean feed being used for last night's five other matches (despite there having been at least one BBC Local Radio station doing commentary on all of them). I'm afraid I don't have any of details of the individual commentary teams.

BBC Radio Solent's commentary on tonight's game is meant to be available online via the BBC Sport website - but unfortunately the barely audible stream provided there and the station's iPlayer and TuneIn feeds are all airing the Mark Forrest show instead. I don't know Solent Sport's full team but Kris Temple and Andrew Moon, as presenter and commentator respectively I think, are in Aldershot for them.

Apologies for the correction Ian but its Maidstone United, good to see my hometown club enjoying the national spotlight. Gutted not to be there though.
