Hi there,

I'm going away to Ibiza tomorrow night and was thinking that Three's Europass let you use evening out of your allowance (calls, texts and data) especially for the price as I believe the the Vodafone pass I had was like that and even cheaper at £33 per day.

On asking them to activate it today that informed me that it's only the data that's include! Is this true?

If so do they let you use things like Tango for video calls or if there was a good app that I can use for normal telephone call?

Cheers Mark.

Yes, you only get data included. From my experience you will be lucky if you have the chance to make any video calls. In Germany I couldn't use TuneIn nor YouTube.

Cheers - cheeky b'stards.

I would have thought for £5 you would have got them included seeing as I did with Vodafone for £3/day (sorry not £33/day as that was a typo).

I've just got back from Spain.

The euro pass is only for data. If texting use whatsapp or similar. I managed to use FaceTime for video calls but YouTube was impossible to use.

Enjoy Ibiza!!!

Was it just the speed of the network the reason that you had to use just the audio on Face time (3meg) and not that they had blocked it?

I might have to just use the audio side of Tango maybe?

Cheers.

If your phone is unlocked its often cheaper to buy a 'local' sim card on PAYG.

Cheers - cheeky b'stards.
It is called Euro Internet Pass though, so they're not that cheeky!

But, yes, it would be nice to have some calls and texts included too.
