Of course some idiots, particularly young teenage boys do that and you just need to ignore it or take it in your stride. I was walking home from the shop when something similar happened (in my case, it was a slap and I turned to see someone running away) but I shrugged and walked on.
I agree it's a bit weird if it's a family member though.

It's going to be interesting to see how Matt plays this - will he be creepy and aware of what he's doing or will he kind of not realise exactly what he's doing?

I really hope it doesn't go much further. I'm looking forward to seeing how Matt plays it all. So far, I can't see why Matt would object........I really hope it's stopped before Dean's character is ruined.
I'm guessing this is the story matt argued with DTC over he wasn't sure about playing I'm guessing its gona get a whole lot worse maybe Dean will even go as far as to try and Rape Linda

I really hope he doesn't rape Linda. Maybe he attempts to, or does something similar but then he doesn't go through with it or is stopped? I just really don't want there to be no way back for Dean.
Matt's words of "make people aware of that situation and go through that" doesn't strike me as being a rape storyline.....or at least not with Dean as the perpetrator. Even if he is, the storyline must be focused on Dean somehow. The words of "go through that" - could that be aimed at Matt acting a certain storyline?

Or Linda. Matt may have been referring to Linda "going through it".
Stalking is more original than rape. Plus also Dean has been raped so Im hoping that if it comes to it,he can't go through with it.
This IS in keeping with Deano's original stint. He was creepy around women then.

That's true. A stalking storyline would be very interesting and it wouldn't completely damage his character - he could come back from it.

I'm with you guys. The Michael/Ronnie and Sean/Tanya obsessions were both interesting and well done though the Michael/Ronnie one was too short. Though they had Derek stalk Kat, that was tagged on to the stupid affair storyline. What would have been better would have been to have Kat pursued by a mystery stalker who is eventually revealed to the viewers as Derek and it ends in Derek raping Kat and Kat and Alfie dragging him through the courts for it. they could also have had a Tanya/Alfie friendship and Alfie supporting Tanya through her cancer ordeal as well and this would have kept the Alfie/Roxy friendship intact too as Alfie and Kat would never have split and he would never have got together with Roxy and then jilted her. So many possibilities.
Back to Dean/Linda, yes, an ordinary stalker storyline which doesn't go too far to damage Dean's character would be fine.

How boring would that be o just deans stalking her as if she wouldn't no who it is and all she would have to do is tell mick or someone where would they stalk her btw she works in the pub and spends most of her days?
