Waterloo Road Series 10 new castings - POSSIBLE SPOILERS not in the DS article

OK, so yesterday DS printed the article on the news that Laura Aikman and Andrew Still, amongst other, have joined the final series of Waterloo Road.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...al-series.html

After some digging around, I have managed to find out some information regarding some of the castings, that wasn't mentioned in yesterdays article. Please let me just say that some of it is subject to change.

First of, Laura Aikman's character. From what I understand, Laura will be playing the new deputy head, a character named 'Lorna Hutchinson'. There were a few videos on YouTube of audition tapes for the role of 'Lorna' but they seem to have disappeared. We do know Laura's character is on the staff, and she has made comments on Twitter towards working with Neil Pearson, who we know will make his first appearance as new Head Teacher Vaughan Fitzgerald very soon, so...could this be it? And if true, what is happening to Simon Lowsley??....hmmm.

Next up is Broadchurch actress, Charlotte Beaumont. She will be playing a new student named 'Kenzie'. From what I hear, Kenzie is quite a character: http://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/charlotte-beaumont//works/

Ex-Hollyoaks actor, Andrew Still will, as DS reported, be playing another new student. Not 100% on this as of yet, but I understand his character is named 'Scott', and he is involved in plotlines with Charlotte Beaumont's character, Kenzie. Both 'Kenzie and Scott' were mentioned in the audition tape I mentioned for the role of Lorna, and both Andrew and Charlotte were spotted on location in Greenock (and even snapped filming by Inverclyde Now): http://www.inverclydenow.com/gallery...k-10-june-2014

Former River City actress, Holly Kenny is playing new student, 'Bonnie Kincaid': https://twitter.com/MarcandMcc/statu...62867719020544 and Stefano Braschi's character is a teacher named 'Marco D'Olivero': http://unitedagents.co.uk/stefano-braschi

Another newcomer, which DS did not mention in the article, is Tahirah Sharif, who many will know recently as Ella Ashford in Casualty. She will be playing a character called 'Carrie Norton', who I am assuming is a student, given Tahirah's age: http://www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/0818-0195-9819

I hope some of this info has been helpful, and I will update anything else as is becomes available. Will be keeping a close on info of Laura's exact casting just to be sure lol.

I doubt its that, I think they probabaly just want to make the last series as memeorable as possible. More of a case of ending on a high note imo

I think you mean Holly Jack and not Holly Kenny. I was confused there, googled Holly Kenny and says she was killed off in WR in 2011 lol.
