Well this was on offer at Sainsbury's at the weekend http://www.flora.com/product/gold-fr...A&gclsrc=aw.ds so i thought I would give it a try. All I can say if you're thinking of buying it DONT, it tastes worse than cheap marg imo very disappointed. Back to butter for me

I dislike the marketing approach of telling you that something is "Irresistible".

"An irresistible blend of butter and Flora". It even has it written on the tub.

It's up to me to decide whether I find something irresistible or not!

In this case, unfortunately not. It's ok, but once i've got though this tub i'll be reverting back to having a tub of both spreadable butter + a tub of a margarine of some variety or another on the go and switch between them depending on what i'm eating. If i'm making a sandwich with a delicate filling where the flavour of the spread is more prominent, or in a jacket potato, i'll use spreadable butter - whereas for a bacon butty with plenty of brown sauce i'll use marg.

I used to be fine with spreadable butter when I was younger than switched back to proper butter, it just isnt the same IMO.
I'm OK with "softer butter" though (eg M&S own brand) which apparently is like normal butter

Everyone should be eating butter anyway. Unless suffering some medical condition or the vegans etc.
