the v-c-s shop?????????????
Klauttu

Just come across a web site for the v-c-s shop, which is offering a Sansung 32" 5000 TV for an unbelievable £205I!

Can anyone tell me anything about them, or has anyone had any dealings with them, as I have a gut feeling something is a little dodgy?

Very, very little comes up on a Google search.

Just getting a shed load of MySQL error messages regardless of what browser/OS combination I use when trying to go to v-c-s-shop.co.uk which I presume is what you are talking about? That's if it connects at all.

The address provided on that link is as far as I can see a block of flats. There is no contact address or phone number on the website, which is seriously broken anyway (at least from my Macbook or a Windows 7 PC).

All of which makes me wonder if it is just some bloke trying to flog stuff from his back bedroom? Even more reason to use someone else's barge pole to do the touching...

OP here

Thanks for all your very helpful replies. Much appreciated.

I guess I will have to pay £50 more and be safe.

Regarding their telephone number. There is one, but it is a mobile, which again is unusual.

not unusual for a bloke drop shipping items or out right scammers from the far east but as said, i wouldn't touch even with my extremely long stink resistant barge pole.

As usual when something seems too good to be true....................

a whois lookup helps give some background and does at least seem legitimate in that they give a uk address and VAT number but doesn't really count for much.

You can find out more about the owner and his webpage problems here
