I think it's the summer lull, s/l have slow right down and weather is good, I think...well hope it will pick up once autumn comes, hopefully things will be a bit more stable and appealing.

That would make Roxy a hypocrite. She was quite happy to try and seduce Alfie when his wife was away looking after her sick father...then there was Max and before all that Christian. She can hardly start having scruples about having affairs now.

I'm really starting to like Aleks so it would be shame if he left, I wonder if he will leave for a bit then come back. Have we heard anything about the actor's contract? It would have be coming to the end when this scenes where filmed, if it was six months that is, since he started in January.

She still will have a mum and dad ? He is not divorcing his child ?

Alright episode. This episode was all about character interaction and Lindsey Coulson for me.

I thought there was some great character interaction tonight with the fat blasters class, Cora/Roxy and Pam/Carol.

Rita's been really good this week, Roxy and Aleks work in a weird sort of way. They bring out the best in each other with a mix of humour and drama for the viewers.

Lindsey stole the episode. When she sat on Arthur's bench, her face spoke a 1000 words. Loved her scenes with Dot, Pam and her daughters. I really like the Carol/Bianca/Sonia combo and hope they further explore the Carol/Sonia relationship in Patsy's absence. No Breaking Bad for Carol.

Mo was used a lot better tonight, I like the Pam/Cora/Mo group. Oldies are strong again.

Nikki and Terry - couldn't care less.

I found tonight a total bore.
For me, i think the lack of Carters is a real problem. I only notice I miss them when they're absent.

EE is allowed a few did eps in the middle of the summer. We all know plenty of interesting stuff is coming up later on.

Hmm...I know we will always have some filler type episodes that cannot be avoid but the last month and half it feels like it's been a lot more then a few.

Terry's situation didn't make sense, or maybe it does and some people are just stupid. His wife/girlfriend is prettier than Bianca and evidently more mature and pragmatic, why downgrade?

DTC is running out of ideas. That's clear for everyone to see.

Only watching this now.
Due to recent events the Carol Story is very close to home at the moment.

I appreciate them doing this story always good raising awareness.

We do not need Vile MO and we do not need a partner in crime.

Here here. It's been the story of the year for me from the acting to the accurate depiction to the downright nastiness of cancer. All teams should be proud of what they're doing with this storyline. 1 in 10 women will get breast cancer and I'm sure there are many women who can identify with Carol and families that can identity with the Butchers.

I'm really glad Sonia has returned for the story. I hate her scenes with Tina but it's worth it just to have Carol's daughters there for her especially with David gone. I know money problems are tedious to watch when overdone **coughs Bianca** but the benefits would probably be half what Carol earns in the café so financial problems can often come into the equation. (without the imbecile Bianca taking out a massive loan) I can completely sympathise with them.

I can't believe Roxy bought Aleks a plane ticket and practically ordered him to go back to Latvia. She can break up with him all she wants but she can't tell him what country he can live in or not! They've only been going out for a couple weeks and it's not he committed atrocities. Ridiculous.

I'm glad Sonia is back as well, I think without her the cancer storyline would be a lot less bearable what with Bianca screeching and making horrendous decisions all the time. She brings some sanity to it all.

Roxy is weak so it makes more sense for her to take Aleks back at any cost. It's also quite realistic as many women are mistresses with full knowledge that a wife exists.
