What a pair of thugs, especially Nick. First he hits his wife, then threatens a defenseless old man. Wow, such a tough man. And as for his weasel sidekick, David tries to look hard yet was scared of going to the police about him harassing Nick and causing the crash. Wish Charlie Stubbs was back to put him in his place.

David can also cut out the rubbish about helping his mum, he has made a fool of her in the past and been nasty to her. Actually David is probably more of a danger to Gail than Michael Rodwell ever will be.

And I am aware Nick has brain damage, but he was a nasty git before the crash so hardly a massive personality transplant. Another one who acts hard, but I remember that time Peter confronted him in the destroyed Bistro and threatened to kill him, Nick nearly wet himself with fear.

Looks like David Platt is all forgiven again! Get his wife and child back, starts being nasty to the person that wanted him back home deep down. Rude to his mum "Gail" is the nastiest act. Now he has destroyed Leanne Tilsley, Nick Tilsley and Simon Barlow.

Creep.

It's good to finally be seeing a more villainous side to Nick. The character has come a long way from when he was Adam Rickett

I do get where David and Nick's worry about Michael comes from, after Lewis scammed Gail.

I will give credit, Ben Price plays the role well. It is also refreshing to have a villain who isn't a murderer.

Definately, to me, Ben Price is Nick now, he's really made the character his own, I agree about the villain bit too, murderers are overdone these days in soaps.

Pretty hilarious how much the Platts are against Les Dennis, we all know he's a long-term character now. He and Gail will be shacked up and married within 12 months and they'll all be there.

Also how much did Les Dennis actually steal from Gail?

Exactly, come Christmas they will all be sat around Gail's dinner table, laughing and joking and pulling crackers like it never happened !! I agree that David is more of a threat than Michael. Remember the peanut scene, very well done and quite frightening.

I can understand sons being protective of their mother but as far as David is concerned, he's more likely to be the one she needs protecting from.

Why did the producers feel they had to make Nick and David so threatening and heavyhanded. Is there no such thing as ' have a quiet word with' in Soapland.

Nick and David Kray.

When people are afraid of you, you can do anything. Remember that.

for gods sake will someone section that nutjob Nick? As David and Viley, I hope Gail moves in with Michael Rodwell and they can look after their brat and the baby themselves.

Nick is now wandering round acting like Doc Martin, not sure I liked his intimidation of Gails new squeeze though, he is bitter and twisted and wants no one to be happy

Yes, admirable that Gail's sons have her welfare at heart. But she has nothing for Michael to con her out of; David and Kylie had the house put in their name and she only has her wages as a cleaner at the gym.

Those two goons couldn't thump a hole through a wet Echo.
If I'd been Des, I'd have broken every bone in their bodies.
Even then, they'd have been getting off remarkably lightly.

Coming round my gaff like that, banging away on the door and issuing threats while I was busy doing my ironing.

I'm not a violent man as you all know, but everybody has a tipping point.
I'd have likely as not been so angry, I'd have gone round and beaten Audrey up as well.
Just for good measure.

Seems she's destined to become a cleaner; sets herself a target in the dizzy world of receptioning by leaving the bistro and hey ho, back to square one.

About as hard as a Nutri-Grain bar.

David and Nick are like fresh meat to someone like Phelan, who's been there, done that and got Anna in bed.

Please tell me that Les Dennis is going to be a long term fixture ?
He's bloody brilliant with Gail.

I actually want her to settle down and be married to him.
They are quite a cute couple.

I quite like David and Nick getting on again but I felt sorry for Micheal Gail has the right to choose who she speaks to. David and Nick should stay out of her business.
