I like the idea of Carol selling weed. It's out of character but might make her a bit more interesting!

Like many people, she enjoys playing the victim.

She really brings you down doesn't she. As bad as this sounds there are days you almost wish she didn't overcome the cancer.

I enjoyed her Harry Hill impression some weeks ago. She deserved a Bafta for that scene got his mannerisms down to a tee.

People handle it differently.
My mom was diagnosed just this week & is actually ok. Obviously it is upsetting but what can you do. You just have to carry on.
It is not as bad a situation as Carol's but she is her normal self at the moment.

Obviously breast cancer sucks but she got rid of david a big member of her support network.
She is past all the chemo & everything & she is alive with a family around her.
She does need to smile more for certain.

I agree. She's such a frustrating character to watch. Even just generally, she's so touchy and snaps at people for no reason. I wish someone would tell her to shut it. This constant back and forth with her various cancer treatments is getting boring as well.

Carol has become like Eeyore. It's dull and depressing to watch her.

The thing is, it's not the cancer that's made her like this - she was miserable before the cancer, but it is just giving her even more opportunity to play the martyr. 'I can't have a double because I have to work to feed my family', 'I'm all alone, no one understands'...etc, etc

The scene last night where she went into the fit club and the women were joking, completely unrelated to her, and used it as an excuse to turn it all about her and bring them all down was so her.

she needed £350 for the loan shark, why not just ask max to help out, im sure he would, but no, 30 mins of chewed wasp face stamping around the square deciding to sell weed or not.

Yawn.

I must admit she does the same for me. I didn't bother catching up on EE this week after Mondays episode having read the spoilers. In theory I should find Carol's current story compelling but there's only been 2 episodes where I have felt that.

I've not seen Eastender for 2/3 weeks, I flicked onto the Omnibus the other night but prompty turned it back off again. Seriously, are they still doing the Carol/Bianca struggling for money storyline? How many times has this been? Has Bianca asked her dad for help? It seems to be the same old, same old whenever I tune in.*yawn*

If Carol did this she'd suddenly become interesting.

The sheer hopeless drudgery of the Jacksons is just unbearable to watch, especially as Carol the martyr absolutely revels in her own misery.

Yawn, yawn, yawn. Yes, it is 'sensitive' storyline, and one we have seen 1000 times before. I'm sure that a real life sufferer would love to see something more cheerful on the box. As for Carol Jackson. A complete and utter drudge.

actress is fine but its her charachter that puts me off she's very bitter snaps at the slightest thing she doesnt want anyones help a very miserable character imo, she doesnt appriciate anyones love or caring towards her, ppl like that should just be left alone
