I can only imagine that Neighbours will drop a last minute scene in, because as you all know, Rolf Harris is one of only 3 famous people to come out of Australia, the other 2 being Kylie and Steve Irwin.

Perhaps Carol off of Eastenders will take a moment to stop building her criminal drug empire and consider the inevitable comparable sentence she faces when caught.

Les Patterson is more famous than Kylie, Steve Irwin and Rolf Harris combined.

I heard that there's going to be a last minute scene with Philth on the phone the judge, making sure Harris knows he's not welcome in the caf, the Vic, the laundrette, the market, Arthur's bench, and Carol's house

Interesting that nobody cares if he holes up at Ian Beale's place.

And I do think barring him from the launderette is a bit harsh - hell, everyone needs whiter than white keks don't they?

Maybe they can have an extra in the background playing the paper sheet he use too with the message "Rot in hell" on it.

I think there's more than 3 famous people to come from Australia! What about Nicole kidman, Hugh Jackman, Rose Bryne, Mel Gibson etc?

Hard to tell around here. Every other "major" event seems to have "should the soaps include..." thread.

Yeah true but this post was a pisstake of that.

By the way I think that Cate Blanchett is the best Australian actress there is, she was magnificent in Notes on a Scandal.

That's the one. She ought to be careful, it only takes a few derogatory DS posts and she'll never work in retail again.

No. I don't know what's more ridiculous - a soap that will mention him or this thread. Soaps mention stuff like death, football, gloabl events something to do with the royals. No soap would be stupid enough to mention a pedophile getting sent down. Notiy will it be insensitive but they wouldn't give publicity to a pedophile. It won't be a very good move to make at all.

Yep. I feel if we had a time machine she'd be one of the only actors of today who could cut it with Hollywood's golden age crop of actors.

Well another time I asked her where the vol-au vents were and she gave me a blank look, she came back with turkey twizzlers. I was not impressed. It's Waitrose for me from now on.

Yes, indeed.

She's relied more on her talent than her "name". I respect her for that.
