Fact: 3 quarter-finals so far have featured a goal in the opening 12 minutes.

That said, it was a good strike. I hope Belgium can still make a game of this.

Great goal, but the commentator had to mention Messi he didn't score.

Now we'll see what Belgium are made of. I doubt they'll win this game though, their defense has looked suspicious and they seem to be a team which makes a meal out of everything.

Might as well hand Argentina the trophy now, no one else is going to win the tournament.

Hazard needs ot be involved much, much more. Belgium have the skill to beat this team, but do they have the belief - more than 20 years since Belgium got this far in a world cup.

Vertonghen the main threat for Belgium; Hazard yet to get going.

Now, now he's touched it several times and he has fouled Messi once, so someone has told him it's a contact sport

Pretty open game now.

They have a mixture of Skill and diving and whinging. So they have a skill advantage over Brazil.

Romero should have done better with that shot essentially straight at him.

Better control from Messi and he would have been through.

That Argentinian goalie should give plenty of hope to Belgium

That through ball from Messi was sublime.

The sneaky bugger saw me typing and actually touched it, I decided to omit mentioning that earlier.

Good game this, Belgium getting back into it somewhat, Argentina looking dangerous whenever they attack. No GBH on any players yet and no real need for yellow cards yet.

Ah, that's a pity, I like watching Di Maria play.

Agree with the commentator saying that's a loss of an attacking dimension for Argentina.

Too many Belgians have been peripheral. I didn't even realise Mirallas was on the pitch.
