Really don't see where the goal threat from Belgium will come from.
Their passing and their set plays have been poor, and pace wise they look static.... Bit too close for an ideal free kick?... |

Vertongen is an ass.
Also apart from the goal... can anyone remember a shot on target? |

Fellaini brilliantly fouls Messi right in front of the goals just outside the penalty area. He was better when he thought it was a non-contact sport.

Fellaini genuinely looks like a fella that texted in to a competition and the prize was to be in the Belgium starting XI.

Fellaini has more World Cup goals than golden boy Hazard at least I guess...

The Belgians were creating the Great Wall of China for that free kick

Disappointed by Belgium so far. You wouldn't think a semi-final place was at stake. They've had moments but that's all.

Fellaini getting overexcited after passing the ball successfully sideways and tries a forward pass straight through an Argentinian. He's surprised when the ball bounces off him.
Half time and only 1-0, I reckon Belgium can take this unimpressive Argentinian side. |

Only five fouls from Argentina in this match so far. Shows you just how dirty Brazil were last night.

This Argentine side isn't that great, the Belgians obviously need to be sensible as not to concede a second, but I hope they have more of a go in the second half and get at their opponents. |

Belgium have reverted to how they played in the group stages, slow ponderous build up with little movement up front...yawn.

Belgium are inexperienced at this level, they will improve in the next few years they have very good players. Most of the Argentina team have played at this stage in multiple tournaments.

I'm willing Belgium to turn it on simply to create some excitement in the match. I really couldn't give a damn who wins this. Holland are the only team left that I have any real time for.
