Belgium have reverted to how they played in the group stages, slow ponderous build up with little movement up front...yawn.
Argentina are defending well though, unlike their previous matches.....I've a feeling we're looking at two good and evenly matched teams.

Fellaini has more World Cup goals than golden boy Hazard at least I guess...
As much as I'm loath to agree with the hugely overrated Mourinho I can see why he criticised Hazard.

He's been incredibly selfish in this World Cup. In most of the games he slows play down terribly by trying to prove he's as good as Messi and holding on to the ball, trying to beat half the opposition side on his own. De Bruyne is wiling and has ability but is incredibly erratic. I don't know how Benteke has played for Belgium but you would have thought they miss him a lot.

I like Witsel - although a lot of people might disagree I think he performs the water-carrier role superbly. I struggle to think of a misplaced pass or a mistake in may of the games. The problem is that his sort of player is there to be steady, to always be an option for the player in possession and not to be concerned with doing anything spectacular, but to give it to the creative or attacking threats. The problem is that he doesn't really have any major threats to give it to who won't promptly lose the ball.

I think it's more a case of two strong sides cancelling each other out : Arg are clearly a step up from anything Belgium has faced before.
But where's the urgency to get back into this game? Or are they going to copy the French and have a go in the final 5 minutes? I don't expect them to bomb forward and expose themselves at the back but its all too passive from Belgium at the moment.

More than 20 years since Belgium reached this stage of the world cup; time for them to stand up and have some decent memories.

Belgium's earliest goal at this World Cup was after 70 minutes. Patience.

Because he tackles like a little boy; unlike Hazard, who really shouldn't be doing that sort of thing.

I agree with Mourinho about Hazard, he is not fulfilling the hype at all. Another player who believes in his own ability at the expense of actually demonstrating it?

Yet another poor ball from De Bruyne. Trying to switch the play with a long floating aerial ball is totally the wrong decision in a situation like that. It just slows everything down.

Hr was Chelsea's best player last year. Just cause he hasn't had a good tournament doesn't mean that he's a flop by any means.

I never said that he is/was a flop, he's just not 'trained on' for me after the hype before Chelsea signed him. His own manager finds fault!
