Good substitutions; Hazard lucky to still be on the pitch; he's been worse than Fellaini..

Subs have worked well for Belgium so far this tournament - let's see if they have an impact again.

I never said that he is/was a flop, he's just not 'trained on' for me after the hype before Chelsea signed him. His own manager finds fault!
In fairness, Mourinho seems to hate the idea of a winger who actually spends most of their time attacking. He would rather turn them into de facto second full backs.

Fellaini with a header towards goal!

C'mon Belgium!

Terrible decision not to give Argentina a free kick.
Must be bias from the referee and FIFA towards Belgium.

Much as I'm supporting Belgium, surely the two footed challenge from Hazard was "intent" and could easily have been a red card.

The Argentina manager has been watching Only Fools and Horses too much

What is Sam Matterface banging on about Higuain being born in France for? He was only born there because his dad was playing for France - a bit like Trezeguet ( an Argentian in all but footballing terms). He never mentions more relevant or interesting cases, for example Odemwingie growing up in Russia (who says he even thinks in Russian).

Was the Argentinian manger just shot then. It looked like that or a heart attack.

The way he has been playing I think the referee thought it would be more damaging to Belgium to keep him on the pitch.

He'd turn Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez into defenders if he could.

FellaIni playing in a more advanced position, looking much more the part. His head seems the most likely source of a goal for Belgium from a good cross.

Jonathan Pearce yesterday and Sam Matterface today both commentating on live World Cup quarter finals. BBC and ITV really have lost the plot.

Better from Belgium, they just need to find a cutting edge of some-sort in the next 20 minutes.

Agreed...

The Belgian passing has been woeful at times....

Atm, Belgium are playing like France did yesterday, with no real urgency...

Expect a frantic last few minutes

Seems to be a non biased ref today for the most part (through my parents think he is biased against Belgium and they understand football more than me).

I know. We are right on schedule for having three semi-finalists - Germany, Brazil, Argentina/Belgium (it really will make no difference) - none of whom has had to play anything more than very average in the quarter-finals to get there.

It's not as Higuain grew up in France - he was less than a year old when his family went back to Argentina. Raheem Sterling was born and lived in Jamaica five times as long, yet I don't think anyone's mentioned it once.

Think this guy is pretty good personally.
