I hope Costa Rica thrash the Netherlands. Arjen Robben needs a good slap frankly.

I really want holland to win tonight but on the other hand I don't as I can't stand Robben and his diving!
Agree with you there, as he's gross, and doesn't seem to care how he plays.

If Holland turn up they will thrash Costa Rica, the Quarter finals have been an anti climax.

I wonder if Rudd Gulet is working for Dutch tv tonight or something because he was on yesterday but not tonight during his country's game.

A dive is a yellow card.

Hoping Holland win, would much rather Argentina v Holland than Argentina v Costa Rica.

Do Holland have a better record on penalties in field hockey?

Maybe they could seek advice from their hockey counterparts?
What, hit the ball with a stick?

Bryan Ruiz looks about a stone lighter than he did when playing regularly for Fulham.

Still he is the last of the Fulham stars who have lit up this World Cup, so go Bry

I just want Costa Rica to have a go. France didn't. Belgium didn't. Columbia did but only late on.

Hopefully Costa Rica don't concede an early goal - that's been a feature in all the quarter finals so far, with the team scoring first eventually winning the game in 3rd gear.

As European as I am, and as much as I love the idea of free flowing Dutch football, I simply cannot support any team that features the Cheaten Robben ba.....d.

He should be banned, the same as Suarez - FIFA Fair Play and all.

Should Robben actually being playing considering he has admitted cheating. I like the Dutch team but it leaves a bad taste.
Why is it worse cheating than a professional foul? That's something that almost every single studio analyst or pundit has praised durng this World Cup - "he had to bring him down there, other wise he'd have been through", "that's professional defending", " he took (a yellow card) for the team" etc.

We are such sanctimonious hypocrites in this country sometimes.

If Costa Rica go through Argentina would have effectively had a cakewalk to the final, I want Holland to go through so finally somebody might give them a game.

I want to see a Germany v Netherlands final now, so it's come on the Dutch tonight.

He's openly admitted to cheating. What more do you want?

Well you never know, but this ought to be as close to a bye for Holland as you can get in a QF.

For admitting something that is a yellow card offence?

See above, if his dive was spotted he wouldn't have been sent off, it's nothing like what Suarez did. I don't agree with diving, it's embarrassing, but it's punished within the rules of the game.

Costa Rica are a good side, Italy and Uruguay found that out.

Costa Rica probably will put up a better fight that Belgium or France, can't be any worse surely.

OK ... let's play sport without punishing cheats.

Fan of Ben Johnson? Linford Christie? Mike Tyson? Lance Armstrong?

Hell ... why not go all the way and teach kids in PE that cheating is a good idea.

With one of his dives he wasn't punished - he was awarded with a penalty!

I know this is too much to ask, but could this game actually be about the football and not the cheating and diving?.....
