Krul may not get a touch of the ball when it's in play. It may only consist of picking the ball out of the net.

Either way Van Gaal is going to be lavished with praise or slaughtered.

I applaud his bravery and his ability to take risks and go for it (may backfire on him). The same cannot be said for Moyes whose default strategy was just play it defensive and safe. Not the Man Utd way.

And the Dutch should have wrapped this up in normal time but Navas has been utterly sensational.

Got to agree, just can't believe it has ended 0-0. I hope the Dutch go through will probably be a better semi, but Navas could be the hero.

I don't agree with there being any pressure on Krul though. If Holland fail to get through, it will be the outfield players to blame for not taking their chances in normal and extra time.

Frankly I'm exhausted. And am neutral! Terrific stuff. Obviously Holland should've won really, but am SO impressed by Costa Rica, and they could have nicked it.

Whatever happens now, they will be going home as heroes. So...kiss of death; Come on Costa Rica!
