Recording Radio from Sky+ and transfering it to an external device

Hi all,

I usually record several radio shows via internet radio. However this method is not always reliable, (programme errors, internet drops outs etc) I bought a freeview hd as a 2nd recorder, (I already have sky) and found it does a very god job of recording radio. It got me thinking, would there be anyway of transferring radio recordings made on sky to an external device? will only a dvd recorder do the trick?

Regards

Any audio recording device with analogue inputs will do the job (Cassette Recorder for instance). Virtually any PC/Laptop will record audio as well via it's sound card (which is likely what you want (record to a digital format). If the PC sound card hasn't the capability there are lots of external usb sound cards.

Audacity is free audio recording software for personal computer (Windows, Linux and OS-X)
