I am appalled by the way he has treated Leanne over the past few weeks. I know she was wrong to not tell Nick about her and Kal but she did it to protect him. I am discussed by his behaviour.

I don't like the way he's treating poor Des, but the rest of his behaviour is excellent.
About time somebody put Mary Poppins in her place.

I'm just waiting for him to really lose it, and start booting Curly Simon all round the cobbles like a Mitre football.
That will be just terrific.

I'm glad that Nick has told it like it is.
Leanne is an old tramp.

He has brain damage, he keeps telling us so, which aggravates his basically nasty nature.

I'll admit to feeling a little sorry for Leanne at the end there but I can't find it in my heart to condemn him for it. He's been badly hurt by her on top of the brain damage and it isn't as though any of it was a lie.

Leanne only got with him in the first place because she was hurt by Peter and wanted to be with somebody who loved her more than she loved them so couldn't be hurt like that again. She said as much to Stella. She then strung him along, even trying to reconcile with her ex on the morning of their wedding. What romantic love she did have for him died after the accident so although he called time she was relieved about it. She was on with Kal within weeks. She should have been honest with him about her feelings rather than letting him believe that she'd only left because of the danger of him hitting her or Simon and that she would return if he managed to recover as it was clear that was what he hoped for.

But she hasn't been honest so he has freaked out when he's found out about her and Kal because he feels used and betrayed.

She is the one saying she won't back down and she doesn't deserve half of the Bistro or flat as he owned them prior to the marriage. She deserved wages (which I assume she got) and maybe a share of the profits for the 18 months she was helping to run it (especially when he was incapacitated) but that is all morally as she put no investment in. If she gets into a war then she can't feel aggrieved when the other side uses all the ammo they have to fight back and her past is ammo. She was naive if she thought it wouldn't come up once the divorce started getting nasty.

Though I think Leanne (Jane Danson ) is the best actress in CS.....I'm glad Leanne got her comeuppance tonight...I can understand Nick's jealousy... and as for Kal least said about him the better................

I don't think he would be much different without the brain damage. He knows what he is doing, he has been a nasty git in the past. Not a real out of character change for him.

Leanne and Nick are joint owners of the bistro; they built it up from The Joinery about four years ago.

True.

It never used to bother him that Leanne had been a prostitute.

Can't believe some of the nasty comments on here! How can anyone justify Nick's horrible treatment of Leanne? Whatever she may or may not have done, no one deserves to be treated like that. I never understand why Leanne seems so unpopular on this forum.

I suppose I'd better confess to my own hypocrisy. I love seeing Nick treat Leanne cruelly. I revel in her pain. However, I don't like the way he is treating Michael. It's not fair.

I think Nick's letting Leanne off too lightly personally.
How many more times is she going to marry him, promising the earth with a cherry on top, only to let him down and make him frown?!

Poor Nick's put up with so much from her.
The nagging, the cheating, the scoldings, the judgemental looks, the saddling of him with of that curly-haired monster.
A man can only take so much you know.

He needs to rack things up a notch now, beginning with destroying all of her dowdy schoolmistress clothes.
Leave her with only a thong and a boob-tube in her wardrobe, the trollop.
Then he needs to take a blunt instrument to Karl - and none of this ruddy "fair fight" malarkey mind - he needs to sneak up and bludgeon him from behind so he never even saw it coming.
Playing by the rules gets you nowhere.
Really steam into him and make him eat his food through a straw for the next twelve-month, see how he likes that.

Lastly he needs to set light to the Bistro and raze it to the ground, before going straight to the law and pointing the finger at Leanne.
Who's the one with form for burning down restaurants eh?
Yeah, you see where I'm coming from here?!
Yeah.
Oh yeah.

He needs to lay off Des Lennis though, I'm not impressed with his shenanigans there.

Agree with you totally. I've always thought their marriage was always a bit one sided, and although I did feel slightly sorry for her last night, I thought the way Nick did that, was actually quite brilliant. (I've always thought he was a bit of a wet squib before). So now I'm really looking forward to all the revenge fights, and i just hope Corrie doesn't disappoint!

I don't know why Kal hasn't got more involved yet....

I'm glad for Kal that he is making decent money from the gym. It must be costing him a fortune having to pay Leanne £100 every time they have sex. Come on Nick, step it up a bit.

I think a trip to Ancoats and Piccadilly is definitely on the books...
I'm looking for a two bit tart dressed in 1950s gear singing a spoonful of sugar...
According to Nick she'll be easy to spot as she'll have a mattress strapped to her back...

He's becoming more entertaining by the day. He should lessen his dosage so that he becomes more unpredictable.

Nick & David were frightening the other night when they paid a visit to Des...

Even I was cowering behind the washing machine crying for my Mum...
It was like a reincarnation of the Kray twins...

Nick is now officially THE hardest man on the street...

But one thing Nick... Leave Des alone... Got it...?? Okay...
